(More customer reviews)These balls are ok if hitting them with irons as long as you don't hit them "thin". If you hit them "thin" with a hard swing, they will dent. If hit with a driver or wood, they will dent and eventually break around the equator of the ball. So, hitting them flush with an iron should be ok. Haven't tried with a 3-iron or 4-iron. Would probably have the same effect as hitting them with a driver or wood.
