Let me start by saying I have been hitting Titleist NXT Tour golf balls for a very long time and I just recently made a change. I am not a scratch golfer by any means and in fact I currently have a 10 handicap, so I am just reviewing this product to let others know what I experienced with this ball. I love the feel of the Titleist NXT Tour balls and the performance they offer through out the years. I will tell you from my experience with Titleist NXT's is that they really do have a lot of side spin, which in my case means I hit fewer fairways with my natural draw spin. This is why I switched to the Bridgestone E6 ball recently. Let me tell you that this ball drastically hits much straighter for me and the distance is the same as the NXT 's. In fact I played a scramble tournament last week and I won the long drive contest with these Bridgestone E6 balls. They feel soft as the Titleist in my opinion and really fly straight. I can work the ball with a draw, but not like the NXT's. If you want a ball for workability, then I would try the Titleist NXT Tour, but if you want a straighter ball flight, then definately try the Bridgestone E6 ball. I have read reviews that mentioned the E6's would not hold the green as well, but I have a fairly high launch ball flight, so I noticed no difference on holding greens. The Titleist and Bridgestone balls hold the same for my ball flight and they both putt the same for feel for me as well. I switched and all I know to tell you is the Bridgestone E6 balls are staying in my bag from now on and highly recommend them to anyone wanting a performance ball, that will fly straighter for you. These E6's were also listed as a GOLD pick IN THE 2010 Golf Digest ball list. Go tee one up and judge for yourself!

Employing a newly enhanced Anti-Side Spin Inner Layer that kills excess spin, the Bridgestone e6 golf ball provides a straighter longer flight and reduces hook and slice spin. The surlyn cover provides a soft feel and added greenside control, and the enhanced low compression design provides a smooth roll off the putter. It also features Bridgestone's Seamless Cover Technology for pinpoint accuracy and consistency.
What is Seamless Cover Technology (SCT)? Seams play a tremendous role in the performance of many of today's golf balls. A seam on a golf ball is a straight line or "gap" where the dimples from the top half and the dimples from the bottom half of a golf ball do not meet through the compression molding process. As a result, a golf ball struck on the seam will not produce the same result because the asymmetrical dimple pattern significantly alters the aerodynamics of the golf ball and causes a wide range of flight characteristics.
Bridgestone Golf balls have never had a seam, but rather a part line, which is created where the tool that encases the core separates after the injection molding process. The resulting line of material is then shaved off. Since this part line is created by the tooling process used in injection molding and does not affect the dimple pattern of the golf ball, the part line has a minimal effect on the performance of a golf ball.
Recognizing that a truly seamless ball--no straight seam or part line--would be the ideal solid core golf ball, Bridgestone Golf created Seamless Cover Technology--a proprietary manufacturing process that eliminates the straight part line and creates a non-uniform part line around the golf ball. instead of two halves coming together to form a solid golf ball, two pieces of a golf ball actually interlock, like gears. The result is the most consistent golf ball in terms of accuracy, distance and trajectory ever created.
